STORY

"We really believe that education, visibility and community can change the world for people who stutter and you helped us get a little closer to that goal. "

"About International Stuttering Awareness Day in Central Park. All of us from the NYC stuttering community want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for contributing to our Stuttering Awareness Day event on Sunday. We had a great day.  We set up camp in front of Central Park with food, smiles, handouts and signs and 25-30 of us talked to countless people about stuttering throughout the day. Some of the people who stopped by were stutterers themselves, who never knew our community existed. Others were teachers, parents and friends of people who stutter. "
